Dr. Bonifacio was born in Luanda, Angola. He discovered polyurea (PURE-type) dendrimers and is the author of the QR-coded audio version of the Periodic Table of the Elements. In parallel to his research activity, he is also enrolled in the development of teaching tools for blind and visually impaired students. He founded the discussion group Bioengineering at ResearchGate .
